CAD Drafting & Reverse Engineering -- 2

I need ongoing help turning raw design data into production-ready documentation. Day-to-day work will range from converting complex 3D models into fully detailed 2D drawings to rebuilding old 2D sketches as clean, parametric 3D files that can go straight to the 3D printer or the CAM workstation. The core tools on my side are Solid Edge and SolidWorks, so your workflow must slot smoothly into either of those environments. Typical projects involve reverse-engineering automobile parts, small mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, and delicate optical or scientific instruments. Accuracy is critical because many of these jobs progress to casting, CNC machining, or additive manufacturing. For each assignment I will supply sketches, photos, scan data, or legacy CAD files and will expect: • 3D-to-2D drafting packs with fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings • 2D-to-3D CAD models suitable for 3D printing (STL) and neutral formats (STEP/IGES) • Reverse-engineered models rebuilt to match original geometry and tolerances • Casting or machining drawings with draft angles, machining allowances, and BOM tables All native files plus PDFs and any agreed neutral formats must be delivered, and the model history should remain editable for future revision cycles.
