About the job

Mobile Game Developer Wanted – iOS & Android From Prototype to App Store & Google Play Launch We already have the core concept and creative direction. To protect the intellectual property, the game name, specific character, unique gameplay mechanics and key creative elements will only be shared with shortlisted candidates. The game should be: * Fun and fast-paced * Funny and visually engaging * Easy to learn * Highly replayable * Designed for short mobile sessions * Simple enough for a broad audience * Difficult to put down * Commercially scalable The objective is to create a strong MVP first, with the possibility of expanding the game after launch. We are looking for someone who can handle the project from concept to live release, not just programming. Expected process: Concept → Prototype → MVP → Testing → Monetization → Store Submission → Live Launch The developer should be able to take the agreed concept and turn it into a polished, functioning mobile game. Game Vision The game will be a simple but highly engaging arcade experience. The player should understand the basic idea within seconds. The intended experience is: **Open → Understand → Play → Fail → Laugh → Try Again** A strong **"one more try"** feeling is essential. The gameplay should be straightforward for casual players, while variation, increasing difficulty, progression and rewards create long-term replayability. ## Visual Direction We want a **strong, recognizable and modern visual style**, without requiring AAA-level graphics. The game should feel: * Cartoon-like * Humorous * Colorful * Energetic * Expressive * Polished * Mobile-friendly We want memorable visual moments, exaggerated reactions, fun animations, particles and effects. The game should look good both on a smartphone and in **screenshots, advertisements and short-form social media videos**. Performance and visual quality should be balanced intelligently. ## User Experience The game must be extremely **easy and intuitive to use**. Controls should be: * Simple * Responsive * Easy to learn * Optimized for touchscreens * Comfortable for one-handed play where possible We do not want long tutorials or complicated menus. The player should be able to start playing almost immediately. The basic user flow should feel like: **Launch → Start → Play → Result → Reward/Progress → Play Again** Restarting after a failed attempt should be extremely fast. ## Gameplay & Core Features The MVP should support the agreed core gameplay and may include features such as: * Touch controls * Player/character movement * Physics-based interactions where appropriate * Obstacles and environmental interactions * Randomized/chaotic elements * Increasing difficulty * Score system * High scores * Personal best tracking * Quick restart * Progression * Rewards * Unlockable content * Basic customization * Animations * Sound effects * Music * Haptic feedback * Tutorial/onboarding * Pause and settings * Challenges/achievements * Analytics Not every feature has to be included in the first MVP. However, the architecture should allow future features to be added without rebuilding the entire game. ## Replayability Replayability is one of the most important parts of the project. The game should encourage players to immediately try again after failing. Potential systems include: * High-score chasing * Increasing difficulty * Randomized elements * Unlockable content * Challenges * Achievements * Rewards * Player progression * Daily challenges or similar systems The exact mechanics will be shared with shortlisted developers. ## Monetization The game should be built with monetization in mind from the beginning. Depending on the final concept, this may include: * Rewarded ads * Interstitial ads * In-game currency * Cosmetic items * Unlockable content * In-app purchases * Optional ad removal Monetization should be implemented intelligently without unnecessarily damaging the player experience. Experience with **AdMob, Unity Ads, Unity IAP or similar systems** is a strong advantage. ## Analytics Analytics should be integrated so we can understand player behaviour and improve the game after launch. Potential tracking includes: * Sessions * Session duration * Retention * Progression * Game-over points * Restart frequency * Ad interactions * Purchases * Feature usage * Crashes * Performance Experience with **Firebase Analytics or similar tools** is preferred. ## Audio & Feedback Sound and visual feedback should make the game feel satisfying. Player actions, collisions, failures, rewards and special events should have clear feedback through: * Sound effects * Animations * Particles * Visual effects * Screen effects where appropriate * Haptic feedback Humorous and exaggerated feedback is encouraged where it fits the concept. ## Performance The game should run smoothly on a broad range of modern Android and iOS devices. The developer should handle: * Stable frame rates * Fast loading * Efficient memory usage * Responsive controls * Different screen sizes * Different aspect ratios * Android compatibility * iOS compatibility * Crash prevention * Performance optimization ## Technology We are open to your recommendation regarding the best technology. Experience with: * **Unity** * **Godot** * **Unreal Engine** is preferred. We would ideally use a development approach that efficiently supports both Android and iOS while keeping development and future maintenance affordable. Please explain which technology you recommend and why. ## App Store & Google Play The project includes the complete publishing process. This includes: * Android build * iOS build * App configuration * Store configuration * App icons and required technical assets * Testing * Release builds * Google Play submission * Apple App Store submission * Resolving technical submission issues * Final launch **The project is considered complete when the game is functioning and successfully live on both platforms.** ## Development Phases ### Phase 1 – Prototype Create
