About the job

Diligent is seeking a

Senior Field Marketing Manager

(German-speaking)

to join our

Field Marketing department.

This is a role for someone who thrives on partnering with Sales, engaging target accounts, and turning marketing activity into measurable revenue impact.

As

Senior Field Marketing Manager , DACH,

you’ll

play a key role in driving pipeline acceleration and bookings across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

You’ll

focus on moving engaged accounts and existing pipeline through the funnel, creating opportunities for Sales through targeted ABX motions, strategic events, and opportunity-acceleration programs. Working closely with DACH Sales leadership, SDR/BDR, and central Demand Generation teams,

you’ll

combine strong sales partnership with hands-on execution and data-driven follow-through to deliver measurable results

This role is based in Munich and

operates

on a hybrid model, with 50% office-based work

required.

Regrettably, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, so you must already be eligible to work in Germany.

Here’s

a breakdown of what

you’ll

do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

Pipeline acceleration &

conversion

Own regional targets for opportunity progression and bookings in partnership with DACH Sales leadership Design and run ABX programs for top target accounts, aligning outreach, content, and events to buying committees and active deal cycles Build and execute programs to re-engage stalled opportunities and push deals through late funnel stages (proof of value, executive alignment, procurement) Partner directly with Sales and SDR/BDR on account-level plays that move qualified pipeline to close

Field programs & events

Plan and deliver a DACH field calendar

weighted

toward late-funnel engagement:

Diligent-hosted roundtables, executive dinners, and customer/prospect briefings tied to active deals. Strategic third-party events and associations relevant to governance, risk, compliance, and audit buyers Account-specific workshops and briefings designed to accelerate named opportunities Own the end-to-end event lifecycle: briefing, invitation strategy (targeted at active pipeline/TAL accounts), on-site execution, lead capture, and structured post-event follow-up Ensure every field activity has a clear pipeline or bookings objective

tied to a specific account or deal stage — not just awareness or brand reach

GTM alignment & stakeholder management

Act as the primary marketing counterpart to DACH Sales leaders and SDR/BDR managers, building trust-based relationships Co-build target account lists and territory plans

with Sales, prioritizing accounts already in active buying cycles Localize sales plays, competitive positioning, and customer proof points for the DACH market to support deal progression Partner with central Demand Generation only where needed for programmatic/campaign air cover (e.g., email nurture support) —

this role is not responsible for SEO/SEM, paid media, or website optimization but is heavily invested in strategy and performance associated with these channels

Budget management & ROI

Own and manage the DACH field marketing budget, prioritizing

spend

on programs with a direct line to pipeline conversion and bookings Build business cases for event

and program investment based on account-level pipeline impact. Track

spend vs. plan and report on program performance: opportunity progression, pipeline acceleration, bookings, and ROI Recommend what to scale, optimize , or stop based on conversion results rather than top-of-funnel volume metrics

Data, process &

martech

Use Salesforce and relevant sales/marketing tools (e.g., 6sense/intent, Outreach, Gong) to

monitor

account engagement, buying signals, and deal momentum Support SDR/BDR sequencing and follow-up on field-driven leads and meetings Ensure clean campaign setup and accurate

reporting on pipeline influence and acceleration, working with Marketing Operations Contribute to field marketing playbooks and templates focused on opportunity acceleration and sales partnership best practices

These

are the essentials

you’ll

need to get an interview:

5–7 years of

B2B

marketing experience within the

GRC domain , including at least 3 years in field, ABM, or regional marketing roles with a strong focus on pipeline and revenue Need to have field marketing region across the DACH region (would consider 2 of the 3 markets) Running programs that accelerate active opportunities and drive bookings — not just top-of-funnel lead generation Partnering directly with Sales leadership to co-own targets, territory plans, and account strategy Strong understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and complex, multi-stakeholder buying journeys (ideally in governance, risk, compliance, audit, or adjacent enterprise software) Experience using Salesforce
