Bi-Weekly Residential Site Inspections

I’m midway through building a two-storey home on the outskirts of Hyderabad and need a licensed civil engineer to become the project’s independent set of eyes. Your core duty is to visit the site every two weeks, walk the works with the contractor, check workmanship against drawings, IS codes and local bylaws, and flag anything that could snowball into costly rework. During each visit you’ll photograph key stages, measure critical dimensions, verify material quality, and speak directly with my foreman so nothing is lost in translation. Within 24 hours I expect a concise PDF report that includes annotated photos, a punch-list of corrective actions, and an overall progress note so I can track schedule and cost impacts from abroad. Although structural redesign isn’t part of the brief, the ability to suggest quick fixes on-the-spot—like proper bar cover or shuttering tweaks—will be valued. Clear communication, punctuality, and familiarity with residential RCC framing, brickwork, waterproofing and finishing trades are essential.
