Tax Accountant

We are inviting freelancers for building a small network of reliable, India-based accountants who can step in for my own clients whenever day-to-day compliance or periodic filings pile up. Everything is handled remotely, so you can contribute part-time or full-time as your schedule allows, but I need someone who works independently—not a firm, not an agency, just you. Your potential to earn can go upto Rs. 50k a month on average if you are willing to devote atleast 35-40 hours a week. ​Here’s what you’ll actually be doing for me and, by extension, for the businesses I serve: ​• GST registration, monthly/quarterly returns and any follow-up compliance ​• Routine bookkeeping and bank reconciliation, keeping ledgers clean and audit-ready ​• TDS, income-tax, ROC and other company-law filings as they fall due ​ My client base ranges from sole proprietors and small family businesses to private limited companies, LLPs and a growing wave of online sellers and service freelancers, so your exposure will stay varied and interesting. Most of them are already on Zoho Books and Tally Prime, and comfort with both platforms is non-negotiable; if you can navigate vouchers, GST modules and statutory reports in Zoho and Tally with your eyes closed, you’re exactly who I’m after. ​We will also be using Gemini AI extensively across our workflow. If you haven't used it much yet, don't worry—we’ll actively help you learn and leverage Gemini AI so you pick up cutting-edge AI skills alongside your core accounting work. ​If you enjoy straight-forward compliance work, like the idea of flexible hours and prefer working solo, send a brief note about your experience along with two recent references or sample reports you’ve prepared in Zoho or Tally.
