Onsite Biometric Engineer Required – Suprema FaceStation F2 | Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu Job Type: Onsite / Physical Site Visit Required Project Location: NTPL, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India Preference: Local engineers from Tuticorin or nearby areas Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Biometric System Engineer who can physically visit our customer site at NTPL, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, and complete face enrollment and technical site survey activities. The project involves a Suprema Face Recognition-Based Attendance and Access Control System for approximately 1,500 contract workers. Important: Suprema FaceStation F2 (FSF2-AB) devices are already configured, and Suprema BioStar 2 ACS Standard software has already been installed. Device configuration and software installation are NOT part of this assignment. Scope of Work 1. Face Capture & Enrollment - Physically visit the customer site. - Capture and enroll facial data of approximately 1,500 contract workers. - Enroll worker details in the existing Suprema BioStar 2 system. - Verify successful face recognition and enrollment. 2. Physical Site Survey - Visit the Main Gate and Rear Gate locations. - Coordinate directly with the customer and understand installation requirements. - Inspect the proposed locations of biometric devices, turnstile barriers, network switches, racks, workstation and display screens. - Identify actual cable routing paths and installation requirements. 3. Wiring Diagram & Cable BOQ - Prepare a detailed wiring diagram based on the actual site conditions. - Identify where network, power and other cables need to be laid. - Calculate the approximate cable length required for each connection. - Specify cable types, connectivity points and the purpose of each cable. - Identify requirements for LAN, fibre, power cables, conduits, switches and accessories. - Prepare a detailed cable quantity estimation and material BOQ. 4. Documentation & Customer Coordination - Discuss and validate the proposed wiring plan with the customer. - Prepare a site survey report. - Submit the wiring diagram and cable BOQ. - Highlight any additional material or infrastructure requirements. Mandatory Requirements - Must be available for a physical site visit at NTPL, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. - Must have practical experience with Suprema biometric devices and BioStar 2. - Must have experience in biometric face enrollment. - Must be capable of independently conducting a site survey. - Must know how to prepare network/power wiring diagrams and cable BOQs. - Must be comfortable coordinating directly with the customer. Location Preference First preference: Engineers based in Tuticorin (Thoothukudi). Second preference: Engineers based in nearby areas who can travel to the NTPL site.
