Hand-Drawn Whiteboard Animation for Educational Content

# Freelancer Job Posting: Whiteboard Animation Video Creator – Hand-Drawn Educational Videos ## Project Overview I am looking for a skilled freelancer to create professional **whiteboard animation videos** for educational and business training content. The videos should feature a realistic hand holding a pencil or marker, drawing illustrations, diagrams, text, and other visual elements on a whiteboard. The drawing should appear progressively as the pencil moves, creating the effect that the illustration is being drawn live. I will provide the concepts, scripts, reference images, and instructions. The freelancer will be responsible for executing the complete video production. ## What I Want to Create The video style should include: - A hand holding a pencil or marker that draws illustrations on a whiteboard. - Drawings that appear only where the pencil tip moves, gradually building the complete image. - A clean combination of black-and-white sketches and selective colors wherever required. - Simple, professional illustrations that make business concepts easy to understand. - Smooth transitions between drawings and scenes. - Text, diagrams, icons, products, people, and other visual elements as required by the script. - Optional voice-over synchronization, background music, and sound effects, depending on the project requirements. The final result should look like a professionally produced educational explainer video, not a basic slideshow or a collection of static images. ## Scope of Work The freelancer should be able to handle the following: 1. **Understand the script:** Convert my written explanations into visual scenes. 2. **Create illustrations:** Design suitable drawings and diagrams based on my instructions and reference images. 3. **Produce hand-drawn animation:** Animate the hand and pencil so that the drawings appear naturally as they are being drawn. 4. **Edit the video:** Arrange scenes, transitions, text, and illustrations in the correct sequence. 5. **Synchronize audio:** Incorporate the supplied voice-over or help with voice-over production if required. 6. **Add finishing touches:** Include appropriate sound effects, music, timing, and visual polish. 7. **Deliver the final video:** Export a high-quality video ready for publishing and presentation. ## Requirements for the Freelancer - Proven experience creating whiteboard animation or hand-drawn explainer videos. - Ability to create a realistic drawing effect where the illustration is revealed along the pencil's path. - Strong visual storytelling and illustration skills. - Ability to follow detailed scripts and reference images. - Good communication and willingness to incorporate feedback. - Ability to deliver consistent quality across multiple videos. ## Project Workflow I plan to provide the content in stages. For each video, I will supply the script, the concepts to explain, reference images where available, and instructions for the scenes. The freelancer will convert this material into a finished video, incorporating feedback during the review process. ## Deliverables - Final high-quality MP4 video. - Appropriate aspect ratio based on the intended platform (initially 16:9). - Voice-over synchronization, if applicable. - Editable project/source files, subject to the agreed scope. - Reasonable revisions to correct errors and align the video with the approved script. ## To Apply Please include the following in your proposal: 1. Links to 2–3 examples of whiteboard animation videos you have personally created. 2. The software and workflow you use to create the hand-drawing effect. 3. Your estimated price for a 1-minute video and a 5-minute video. 4. Your estimated turnaround time. 5. Whether you can create custom illustrations from scripts and reference images. 6. Whether you provide editable project files along with the final video. **Important:** Please share actual samples of your work, preferably videos where a hand visibly draws the illustrations in real time. I am interested in building a long-term working relationship with the right freelancer for producing multiple educational and business training videos.
