Commercial Finishes Specification writer

We are a manufacturer of specialty plaster finishes and need a seasoned architectural technical or specification writer to update our MSDS, SDS, TDS and other similar documents. Document consolidation and updating to current standards is the focus. Some products are new and need new data documents written. Looking for part-time (freelance) writer to form a longer-term working relationship with to accomplish this Scope • Update written specifications for all finish specialty finishes and accessories products. Writer should understand the process of where to get and reconcile new information with dated info. • Reference appropriate ASTM, ANSI, LEED v4.1, and other reporting requirements where local code requirements where needed. • Use a master format and maintain industry compliant standards for each category of documents. • Deliver editable Word documents plus a clean PDF set ready for issue. Acceptance criteria • Sections are universal for residential and commercial uses and align with industry standards. • Language is clear, enforceable, and free of conflicts or duplication. • Final package passes a review and approval from internal technical director and edits are completed if necessary. Example provided is a dated document of a discontinued product for reference of document type. Additional criteria may be added based on product specific needs.
