Author Branding & Book Marketing Specialist Needed

Looking for a Freelancer for Author Branding, Social Media & Book Marketing I am looking for a thoughtful and creative freelancer who can help me build my author profile on social media and market my books over the longer term. I am an author, corporate professional and spiritual seeker based in Bangalore. My writing explores the search for meaning and the way spirituality can find expression in ordinary life—at work, within families, through relationships, humour, conflict, nature, success, failure and everyday choices. My first novel, Navapura – The City of Nine Gates, was published in 2017. My new book, A Seeker’s Lens, is a collection of eleven short stories exploring meaning, connection, self-discovery and glimpses of the Divine in everyday life. I am also working on further fiction and writing regularly on the Bhagavad Gita from the perspective of a householder trying to understand and live its teachings. What I want to build I do not want a typical motivational, religious or heavily promotional social-media profile. The identity I would like to develop is that of a writer and ordinary spiritual seeker living a contemporary life—someone balancing profession, family, creativity and spiritual inquiry. The content should be light, accessible and relevant to everyday life. For example: - Short reflections on spirituality in daily situations - Insights from the Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta expressed in simple contemporary language - Observations about work, family, relationships, purpose and the mind - Extracts, ideas and themes from my books and stories - The writing journey and occasional behind-the-scenes author content - Reflections from travel, nature, music and ordinary experiences - Thoughtful humour where appropriate - Book-related posts without making the account feel like continuous advertising The tone should be warm, reflective, intelligent, understated and authentic. Spiritual without being preachy. Indian in its roots, but universal in its communication. What I need help with I am looking for someone who can work with me on both strategy and execution, including: - Developing a coherent author/social-media identity - Creating a content calendar - Turning my existing writing, books, blogs and ideas into social-media content - Writing and designing posts, carousels, reels or short-form content - Growing an organic audience interested in books, spirituality, reflective living and Indian thought - Supporting the launch and ongoing marketing of A Seeker’s Lens - Building visibility for me as an author rather than promoting just one book - Advising on the right mix of platforms and content formats - Tracking what works and gradually refining the strategy I have a substantial amount of original material, stories, reflections and ideas, so I am not looking for someone to manufacture a personality or fill a feed with generic quotes. I need someone who can understand my voice and translate it effectively into social-media formats. The right person You would ideally have experience in some combination of: Author/book marketing, personal branding, organic social-media growth, content strategy, storytelling, literature, spirituality/wellness or thoughtful long-form-to-short-form content. An understanding of Indian cultural and spiritual traditions would be useful, but the ability to communicate them naturally to a modern audience is more important. Please share: 1.
