UK Website Ongoing Technical Maintenance

I’m looking for a new developer/company to provide ongoing technical maintenance and support for our established website, FreeWills.co.uk, which is operated by Quick Will Limited. The website is built using October CMS/PHP and is hosted on Linode, with Cloudflare also in use. We are not looking for a redesign or redevelopment of the website. We need a reliable person/company to maintain the existing system and provide technical support when required. Our requirements include: * 24/7 automated uptime monitoring and alerts * Monitoring for HTTP 5xx/504 errors and other availability issues * Linode/server monitoring, including unusual traffic or resource usage * October CMS, PHP and database maintenance * Security and dependency updates * Cloudflare/DNS support where required * Backup monitoring and the ability to restore the site if necessary * GitHub/source-code and deployment support * Investigation of server/application errors when they occur * Reasonable response times for urgent issues affecting the live website * Occasional development/fixes, which could be charged separately if appropriate We recently had an incident where the website returned 504 Gateway Timeout errors for approximately 16 minutes during a site crawl. Unfortunately, Google Ads attempted to access the website during this period and subsequently disapproved a significant number of our advertisements because it considered the destination unavailable. This has highlighted the need for appropriate monitoring and someone available to investigate these issues when they occur. Our current developers have carried out substantial remediation and development work, so we would arrange a proper technical handover and provide access to the relevant systems and documentation. We would like a quote for ongoing maintenance with additional development charged separately or another arrangement you would recommend. Could you please let me know: 1. Whether you currently support existing October CMS websites; 2. Whether you are comfortable supporting Linode/Linux, Cloudflare, PHP and the associated server infrastructure; 3. What monitoring and emergency response you would provide; 4. Your typical response time if the live website goes down; 5. What would be included within a monthly maintenance package; 6. Your monthly cost; 7. Your hourly rate for work outside the maintenance package; and 8. Whether there would be any initial onboarding/handover charge. The website is commercially important to us, so I’m looking for a long-term relationship with someone who can maintain the existing platform reliably, rather than someone looking to replace or rebuild it.
