Reports should highlight emerging opportunities, disruptive players, regulatory shifts and adoption curves, backed by credible sources and, where useful, AI-generated data visualisations or summaries. A technical background whether mechanical, electrical, civil or another relevant discipline helps you recognise real-world implications and filter out hype. English fluency is essential for our day-to-day collaboration; the ability to communicate findings in Chinese or French is highly valued when we deep-dive into local market material. I rely on modern research stacks: patent and publication databases, Statista, Gartner, Crunchbase, plus AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Bard for rapid horizon scanning. Please feel free to propose additional sources or automation scripts that keep our intelligence pipeline efficient and verifiable.
