PCB Rework & Power Strategy Advice

I already have a working prototype for a small motor-driven device, but the current PCB needs refining before I can move toward production. I’m looking for someone to step in, update the board, and help me decide whether it should ultimately run from an on-board battery or a wired supply. Also decide to use a switch or not. It’s also a Bluetooth powered device for wireless operations, but additional options can be added to suit other conditions. Here’s what I need: • Tidy up component placement so the layout is cleaner and easier to assemble in the enclosure. • Modify the circuit where necessary to make it more compact. It should be compliant with EMC and expected to pass any tests • Adjust the board outline; the enclosure has changed slightly, so the PCB has to shrink by a few millimetres and adjust mounting holes in the enclosure. • Provide a clear, data-backed recommendation on the power architecture. I’m still undecided between battery-powered and non-battery operation, so your analysis should cover size, cost, expected run-time, recharge logistics (if applicable), and any regulatory implications. Deliverables: 1. Design for manufacturing by Updated schematic and PCB layout files (EasyCad, KiCad, or Eagle—whichever you prefer, as long as Gerbers and BOM are included). 2. A short technical report comparing battery vs. wired supply for this device and stating which approach you recommend and why. 3. Manufacturing-ready files and an annotated BOM so I can send everything straight to the fab house. 4. Help in submitting order for the new PCB on JLCPCB. 5- Test the device and do any needed refinement. If you’ve tackled compact motorised products before and can balance electrical performance with mechanical constraints, I’d like to hear how you’d approach this.
