I need the ESP32 AAP / AAD modules on my bench to exchange CAN-Bus frames in real time, interpret the hexadecimal payload exactly, and act on it. The goal is rock-solid, low-latency control: existing equipment sends commands, the ESP32 must parse those hex words, understand the decimal meaning behind each bitfield, and instantly publish its own status frames back on the bus. All the original HEX files and CAN command tables are already in hand, together with a CAN tracer that shows traffic live. What is missing is the firmware that ties everything together, integrates those files, and implements reliable monitoring and status reporting over CAN. Deliverables • Fully documented ESP-IDF (or Arduino-ESP32 if you prefer) source code that: – Imports my supplied HEX files / calibration tables. – Decodes incoming CAN frames, translating each to its decimal parameters. – Updates internal variables, then transmits the required status frames. • A concise table mapping every CAN ID and byte offset to its decoded value, so I can cross-check with the tracer. • Build instructions plus a short video or log file showing the firmware running on hardware and passing live traffic tests. Acceptance criteria The firmware must run continuously for 8 hours without missed frames, echo every monitored parameter within 20 ms, and print any out-of-range value to the serial console for troubleshooting. Tooling notes: I already have an ESP32-CAN dev board, a laptop with ESP-IDF 5.x, and a Peak-PCAN tracer; please keep your solution compatible.
