About the job

I’m upgrading an existing multirotor into a fully autonomous platform that can sense its surroundings, avoid obstacles, and navigate reliably both indoors and outdoors. The job spans the full stack—from perception algorithms right down to the wiring harness—so I’m looking for someone who is as comfortable flashing firmware as they are tuning a neural-network-based planner. Scope • Algorithm design: real-time obstacle detection / avoidance and global–local path-planning that runs on-board (PX4 / ArduPilot companion computer or similar). • Sensor fusion: integrate LiDAR or depth camera with IMU + GPS for seamless transitions between GPS-denied interiors and open-sky flight. • Hardware–software bring-up: ensure drivers, power distribution, and latency budgets line up so the drone reacts within safety margins. • Field validation: indoor warehouse mock-ups and outdoor construction-site style tests, filmed for proof. Timeline is ASAP; I’m ready to ship hardware to you or give SSH access to the onboard computer today. If you thrive on tight integration work and like seeing your code lift off the bench, let’s talk. NOTE: The algorithm was done but need to finalise it and make it work in real...If have mistakes in the algorithm make sure should fix it. The reason i need expertise in hardware as well because of need to understand the problems will come from hardwares during the testing such as sensor noise, drift, etc. So only left another 50% of testing to complete the project so i need expert guide.
