August 2026

the genesis
Feature
The product is born as viajob and becomes linkfellow: the concept gets corrected once it's clear this isn't "just an aggregator with no profiles" but a lightweight LinkedIn — companies post jobs and updates, there's a public feed and company profile — minus the toxic parts: no profile-view counter, no "who viewed you", no algorithmic feed (always chronological).
Feature
First real-job integration: Adzuna, 18 countries. Honest applications — the button goes straight to the source site instead of pretending to deliver an application to a company that isn't a client.
Feature
"LinkedIn-like" redesign: fixed navbar with search, 3-column layout, emerald green. The site goes bilingual pt/en and gets live search with sorting.
Content
Launch of the Inspiration feature: reel → transcription → AI analysis → cartoon/video → Instagram, on a dedicated account.
Infrastructure
Own domain fairplace.site registered and live.
Infrastructure
Full rename linkfellow → fairplace everywhere — local folder, VPS, process manager, cron jobs.
Fix
Job-video prototype (person performing the role + salary/location banner). Fixed a critical bug: the system was grabbing the wrong clip from an account shared between different bots.
Feature
Launch of the Freelance section. Same day: integration with Freelancer.com (2,558 real projects, 48 countries) and Findwork (119 listings).
Performance
Pages were taking 20 to 26 seconds to load. Cause: a missing index plus a database buffer pool far too small. After the fix: under 0.4 seconds on every page.

September 2026

feature growth
Content
Content-bot variants for Brazil and Germany. Search filters start being remembered across visits.
Feature
Launch of the Prep section (grants, courses, research funding). "Jobs near you" on the homepage, by location.
Fix
Visual loading fixes. Company-claim disputes now become an email for manual review, never an automatic action. Lifetime free plan capped at 3 jobs ever.
Performance
The homepage's heaviest query got optimized — it was burning over 200% sustained CPU on the shared server.
Feature
New stats section on the homepage. Company pages get job search and pagination.
Feature
Collapsible "consoles" (saved jobs, alerts, filters).
Feature
The month's biggest UX change: side job-detail panel. Clicking a card opens the description right next to the list, no page navigation needed.
Feature
Re-engagement email for candidates with no response after 7+ days.
Feature
Launch of the interactive Learning Center: navigable diagnosis tree + practical guide library.
Performance
Job list page size cut from 20 to 12 per load — the first screen paints faster.
Performance
Removed a sort step that was the job panel's real bottleneck: 2.2 seconds → 115 milliseconds.
Security
Full security audit in a single day: content security policy fully enabled, database connection pool widened, password hashing cost increased, and a complete password-reset flow built from scratch.
Fix
A closed listing stops hard-blocking with an error — shows a warning and carries on. A source behind 65% of the catalog gets its own expiry, closing ~441,000 stale listings at once.

October 2026

up to today
Fix
Content-bot fixes. New stats panel in the admin area.
Feature
Country and city dropdowns redesigned to open like the continent one: a closed button with search inside the panel, no longer a typing field.
Fix
Full geography investigation: several aggregators were recording a listing's country by the source site queried, not by the listing itself — 670 listings corrected retroactively, sources hardened against recurrence.
Performance
Found a database bug: a filter was taking the wrong path and scanning 337,000 rows instead of 3,000. Fixed: ~1 second → 0.04 second.
Feature
Visual loading indicator during search. The detail panel now preloads in the background — clicking a job opens it instantly.
Fix
Final polish: the detail panel stopped flickering on open and getting stuck over the filter bar; selected-card color made uniform; hover shadow effect removed.
