Development Team Needed – Shipping & Logistics Platform (Web, iOS, Android, Admin)

SPRINTER ONE™ is looking for an experienced software development company or team to build and launch a modern, user-friendly shipping and logistics platform. It should offer the essential capabilities of services like FedEx or UPS, but with a simpler, cost-effective architecture. We are NOT trying to replicate the full infrastructure of a major carrier. We prefer a phased MVP approach: core shipping operations first, advanced features in later releases. IMPORTANT – EXISTING PLATFORM SPRINTER ONE™ already has an existing development effort, including an iOS TestFlight build. Please be ready to evaluate the existing codebase and quote separately for: (A) completing / improving the current platform, or (B) rebuilding a streamlined MVP. Access to source code and technical materials will be arranged during evaluation. SCOPE 1. Customer Website - Responsive branded website; registration, login and account dashboard - Shipping request creation; pickup and delivery address management - Shipping quotes and rate calculation; secure online payments - Shipment tracking, shipping history, email/SMS notifications - Customer support / contact functionality 2. Mobile Apps (iOS and Android) - Registration, login and profile management - Create shipping requests, get quotes, schedule pickups - Track shipments, view history, push notifications - Secure payments and customer support access - Clean, consistent SPRINTER ONE™ branding and intuitive design 3. Admin Dashboard - Manage customers, orders, pickup/delivery requests and shipping rates - Update shipment statuses; view payment transactions - Reporting, customer inquiries, activity monitoring, system settings - Role-based admin access with full company-owner control 4. Shipping & Tracking - Unique tracking numbers and shipment status history - Pickup confirmation, in-transit updates, delivery confirmation - Basic shipment reporting (advanced GPS tracking can come later) 5. Backend, Security & Integrations - Scalable backend, secure database, APIs, authentication, payment integration - Cloud hosting, access controls, data protection, automated backups - Documented architecture, integrations and maintenance procedures - Disclosure of all third-party services, licenses and recurring costs 6. Source Code, IP & Handover - Full delivery of all custom source code (apps, website, backend, dashboard) - Repositories and admin access transferred to company-owned accounts - Contractual assignment of custom-developed IP upon payment - Technical documentation, secure credential handover, independent maintainability 7. Testing & Final Delivery - Working website, mobile apps, admin dashboard and backend - Functional, compatibility and security testing with issue reports - Live end-to-end demo and resolution of critical defects - Help with App Store / Google Play submission and defined post-launch bug-fix support PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Previous delivery of shipping, courier, logistics, transportation or delivery-management software; full-stack and mobile development; API integrations; payment gateways; cloud infrastructure; tracking systems.
