About the job

I need a complete grading and stormwater management plan for a new retail/office building that will be going up on my commercial parcel in Veneta, Oregon. The purpose of this package is to satisfy the city / county permitting process, so every drawing, calculation, and narrative must align with local code and submittal standards. You will start with the existing site plan, analyze runoff post-development conditions, and design the grading, detention, and conveyance features needed to keep peak flows within allowable limits. The plan has to tie into the public system at the frontage and show how roof and parking‐lot are managed on site. Deliverables • Grading plan sheets (PDF + CAD) showing spot elevations, contour modifications, ADA slopes, and pavement cross-sections • Construction details: catch basins, detention structure, overflow, outlet control, erosion-control BMPs • Cover sheet, notes, and permit forms ready for direct submission to the city Acceptance Criteria 1. All documents meet the latest City of Veneta and Lane County stormwater design manuals. 2. Submittal is stamped by an Oregon-licensed PE (civil). 3. Any plan review comments are addressed with one round of revisions included. An example of an approved plan will be provided along with site plan, contour & elevation map, rain garden specs, etc. Please outline your approach, tools you prefer (Civil 3D, HydroCAD, SWMM, etc.), estimated timeline, and confirmation of Oregon PE licensure when you respond.
