Presales SPOC for DPDP Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a technically proficient freelance resource to act as the Presales Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Privafocus, a consent management platform designed to support organisations in addressing India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and applicable rules. The resource will work closely with the sales, product, and development teams to conduct technical product demonstrations, explain solution architecture, address customer technical queries, validate integration requirements, and support proof-of-concept (POC) implementations. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Product Demonstrations - Conduct end-to-end technical demonstrations of the Privafocus platform. - Demonstrate consent collection, purpose and notice management, consent withdrawal, cookie consent, and audit trails. - Explain data principal rights, grievance management, compliance dashboards, and reporting workflows. - Demonstrate technical workflows and integration scenarios based on customer requirements. 2. Technical Solution Consulting - Understand customer IT environments and translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Explain product architecture, deployment options, APIs, SDKs, databases, and integration capabilities. - Support discussions on cloud infrastructure, data security, access controls, authentication, and multi-tenancy. - Identify technical gaps and recommend suitable implementation approaches. 3. API & Integration Support - Explain REST APIs, API authentication, webhooks, and integration workflows. - Support integration discussions involving websites, enterprise applications, CRM, ServiceNow, and identity providers. - Provide technical guidance for cookie consent, email consent, WhatsApp consent, and database integrations. - Coordinate with developers to validate integration feasibility and resolve technical queries. 4. DPDP Technical Compliance - Understand the technical requirements associated with DPDP consent management. - Explain consent lifecycle management, purpose-specific consent, notice versioning, consent withdrawal, and evidence logging. - Support discussions on auditability, role-based access control, data retention, and privacy workflows. - Map customer requirements to existing platform capabilities and identify development gaps. 5. POC & Technical Evaluation - Support customer proof-of-concept implementations and technical evaluations. - Prepare technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and solution assessments. - Document customer requirements, integration dependencies, and technical assumptions. - Coordinate with the development team to resolve issues and validate proposed solutions. 6. Product & Development Coordination - Act as the presales SPOC between customers' sales teams and our internal product management/engineering teams. - Translate technical requirements into user stories and functional specifications when required. - Review new features and validate them against agreed requirements. - Maintain technical documentation such as architecture diagrams or API documentation guides.
