Upgrade to ASAP 5.0 Compliance

My in-house controlled-substance prescribing program still exports prescription reports in ASAP 4.1, but Michigan now rejects anything that isn’t ASAP 5.0. The application runs on Windows and I believe we have the source code available, although I’ll need your help confirming that and identifying the language it was written in. What I need is straightforward: review the existing codebase, modify the export routine so it produces fully compliant ASAP 5.0 files, and make sure the new files pass the state’s online validation tool. If minor UI or configuration tweaks are required to let staff choose the new format, please include those as well. Deliverables • Updated build that generates ASAP 5.0 output by default • Verification log or screenshots showing successful submission to Michigan’s portal • Brief change log and build instructions so we can maintain the update internally If you have experience with prescription monitoring reporting, healthcare data standards, or past ASAP transitions, that will be a big plus.
