About the job

Our two-turbine, 2 × 250 kW hydroelectric station is now in the construction phase and the control panels are ready for code. I need a complete PLC program built around a Delta CPU of AS series. The logic must: • Start, stop, and protect each Francis turbine, including speed regulation and emergency shutdown routines. • Modulate inlet gates to manage water flow while maintaining set-point head and optimising efficiency. • Continuously monitor generator voltage, current, frequency and bearing temperatures, triggering alarms and trips when limits are breached. An accompanying HMI (Delta DOP or compatible) with clear status pages, trending, and manual-override screens is expected. I will supply P&IDs, I/O lists, and functional descriptions—your task is to translate them into structured, well-commented ladder or IEC-61131 function blocks, load the program, and guide me through on-site commissioning over remote session. If you have stronger experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric, feel free to propose how you would port the logic; however, a Delta solution remains my first choice. Deliverables considered complete when: 1. Compiled PLC and HMI projects run error-free in simulation. 2. FAT checklist is signed off remotely. 3. Site commissioning support brings each unit online and synchronised to the grid without unresolved alarms.
