I’m building BlessPOS for a single-location restaurant in Québec and need it to pass Revenu Québec’s WEB-SRM certification. The system must deliver real-time sales reporting (daily, monthly, tax-segregated, item-level) and a built-in customer loyalty programme that tracks points and rewards at the point of sale. Inventory control can wait; I want a lean, fast interface that focuses on ringing sales, printing compliant receipts and engaging repeat customers. The first milestone is a rock-solid Software Requirements Specification that maps every WEB-SRM mandatory and optional call, sets out user flows for wait-staff and cashiers, defines data models (taxes, tips, voids, loyalty points) and lists the test cases Revenu Québec will run. Once the SRS is approved, we move straight into coding the POS core, SRM web-service interface, receipt templates (French & English) and the loyalty logic. Deliverables 1. Complete SRS (Word/PDF) with functional, non-functional and compliance sections 2. Prototype or initial code implementing WEB-SRM endpoints and receipt printing 3. Certification test checklist proving responses in the Revenu Québec sandbox Acceptance criteria: the sandbox validates every transaction type and an external dev team could build the final product using only the SRS you provide. If you already know the WEB-SRM spec, restaurant workflows and can write clean, well-documented code (C#, Java, Node, or similar), let’s talk timelines and get BlessPOS ready for the Québec market.
