Python Developer Needed for kk- Data Mapping, Allocation and Calculations

**Title: Python Developer Needed for data Accounting Automation** I am looking for an experienced Python developer to support an end-to-end natural gas accounting automation project covering input processing, business calculations, output generation and reconciliation. **Scope of Work** **1. Input Processing and Validation : - Process approved input sources and file formats. - Identify and extract required data elements. - Implement structural and business input validations. - Handle missing, invalid, duplicate and unsupported inputs. - Record validation results and exceptions. - Provide validated records for downstream processing, preserving source references. **2. Mapping, Allocation and Calculations — - Implement approved mapping and classification rules. - Develop processing logic for Actuals and Estimates. - Implement allocation rules and calculation formulas. - Validate calculation results and handle business exceptions. - Make results reproducible and traceable to source records. **3. Output Generation and Reconciliation — - Generate supporting reports in approved formats. - Produce Station Allocation outputs. - Generate journal-entry files using approved accounting requirements. - Reconcile output totals against processed inputs. - Implement control checks and balancing validations. - Report reconciliation differences and exceptions. - Maintain source-to-output traceability and audit logs. The implementation must follow the existing project architecture and use the client-approved shared library. Additional third-party dependencies require approval. Project-specific business logic must remain in the application service. **Expected Deliverables** - Modular, documented Python source code. - Input validation, mapping, allocation and calculation modules. - Supporting reports, Station Allocation and journal-entry outputs. - Exception and reconciliation reports. - Unit tests and end-to-end test results. - Setup instructions and technical handover documentation.
