The goal is to create a fully featured iPhone code-editing app. Users must be able to write and save multiple code files locally, open or pull files from online projects, make edits, and then run the code to see results instantly. Initial language support is critical: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (with a live preview rendered in a built-in browser) and Python (executed directly on the device, not sent to a server). A smooth, tab-based editor with syntax highlighting, basic autocomplete, and file management will make the workflow feel familiar to desktop developers while remaining lightweight enough for mobile use. I will provide UI sketches for the main screens—editor, preview pane, and file browser—so the task focuses on implementing the core functionality in Swift, integrating WebKit for front-end previews, and embedding a dependable Python interpreter. Clean, well-documented code, an Xcode project ready for future expansion, and brief setup notes are the expected deliverables.
