About the job

URGENT: Looking for a senior Swift developer to help fix bugs in Açaí, a code analysis tool that reads Swift, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Java/Kotlin, Dart, and C/C++ code and turns it into diagrams and quality reports. It runs as a SwiftUI app, a CLI, and an MCP server. This is strictly a bug-fixing job. No new features or rewrites. I need someone who can work with the existing code and fix issues like incorrect diagram connections, parser failures, CLI export problems (Mermaid, DOT, PNG), crashes when scanning large folders, flaky tests, and UI canvas bugs. You'll need to reproduce each issue, find the cause, make a focused fix, and add tests where needed. I'd also like a short note explaining what caused the issue and how you tested the fix. You should have solid Swift experience (Swift 6 and SPM preferred), some background in parsers or static analysis, and a Mac to run the project. Good communication and clear English are important. Experience with Tree-sitter, Graphviz, Mermaid, SwiftUI, MCP, or Kotlin would be a plus. We'll start with 1–2 paid trial fixes. If things go well, we can move on to the rest of the backlog. I'm open to hourly or per-bug payments, whichever works better for you. If you're interested, send me your rate, links to your previous work, your availability, time zone, and whether you're using a Mac or Linux. Also, tell me about one similar bug you've fixed before. I'd like to get started this week, so feel free to reach out if you're available.
