WordPress UI/UX Designer and Developer for Gold Buying and Pawnbroking Website Redesign

We are an established Australian business specialising in gold buying, pawnbroking and loans against valuable assets, with related jewellery, luxury watch and designer handbag services. We are looking for an experienced freelancer or small team to design and implement a professional WordPress website that generates better enquiries, protects existing SEO and is easy for our team to update. Gold buying and pawn loans are our main priorities. You must understand the difference between a customer selling an item and borrowing against it, and create clear journeys for both. The project includes: - Discovery, competitor review and a complete existing-page inventory. - Original UI/UX design in Figma for desktop and mobile, approved before development. - WordPress development with reusable service-page templates and editable content. - Redesign of priority pages while preserving and migrating other useful pages and the existing article archive. - Separate selling and loan enquiry forms, with optional item-photo upload. - Technical SEO, URL preservation, redirects where necessary and coordination with our SEO agency. - Fast mobile performance, accessible navigation and reliable form delivery. - GA4/GTM conversion tracking and practical foundations for Google and AI search visibility. - Testing, launch, documentation, staff training and post-launch support. Experience with gold buyers, pawnbrokers, jewellery, luxury resale or asset-backed lending is strongly preferred. We also require proven SEO migration experience and a strong design portfolio. WordPress is required. We prefer a lightweight block-based implementation and are open to a well-supported alternative if you explain its editing experience, performance and maintenance implications.
