About the job

I have a scheduled Cisco switch refresh that must be carried out inside two Mexican sites—Guadalajara and Ciudad Juárez. I need an experienced Level-1 field engineer who can be physically present for at least one weekday and one weekend session (additional visits are possible if the migration window expands). Your focus is strictly the hands-on portion of the change: shutting down the legacy stack, installing the new Catalyst switches, and making sure every cable ends up in the right port and is cleanly labeled. An off-site L2 engineer will handle configuration; you will give that person console access through a laptop tethered directly to the switch, stay close while they load the template, and verify power, link lights, and interface status on request. Key acceptance points • New switches are racked, mounted, powered, and grounded correctly. • All existing network cables are moved across, labelled, and neatly dressed. • Remote console session is available for the L2 engineer until sign-off. • Final connectivity checklist (ping test and port-count confirmation) is shared before leaving site. If you know your way around Cisco hardware, are comfortable working after hours, and can communicate in English with the remote team, let’s lock the schedule and get this migration done smoothly. Required tools: Laptop, Console, Pen drive, Pen Marker, Screwdriver sets etc..
