About the job

The task is to create a compact, hybrid self-decoupled 2 × 2 MIMO antenna that operates in the sub-6 GHz 5G band, centred around 3.5 GHz, for direct integration into a modern smartphone mainboard. Size must respect the tight footprint of typical handset RF zones while achieving strong isolation (target S21 ≤ –20 dB across the band) without the need for additional decoupling circuits. Efficiency above 80 %, ECC below 0.05 and compliance with standard handset SAR constraints are also expected. A practical feed network and clear PCB stack-up notes should be included so the layout can drop into a standard smartphone design flow. I will run pre-fabrication reviews in HFSS, CST or similar, so please base your work on a full-wave solver and supply the editable project file alongside clear documentation. Deliverables • 3D simulation file with parametric model • S-parameter, radiation pattern & gain plots (PDF + raw data) • Gerber/ODB++ ready layout with layer call-outs • Brief design report outlining theory of the self-decoupling approach and tuning steps • Optional: guidance for prototype build and measurement setup Payment will be released once the supplied files reproduce the stated performance in my own simulation run.
