About the job

Software Implementation Lead, Phase I Consultant Purpose of the role: Translate the frozen research specifications into reproducible research software without changing the scientific design. Scope: Implement the Sentinel research inference architecture; implement mandatory baseline algorithms B1–B5; establish the development/internal-test/locked-validation computational pipeline; implement reproducibility controls, logging, configuration management, and source-code versioning; integrate the frozen calibration procedure; execute the development and internal-test pipeline; and support locked validation after the configuration is frozen. This is research software implementation, not development of Sentinel's future FileMaker production platform, commercial dashboard, customer portal, or ePCR/LMS integrations. Proposed effort: Approximately 220–300 consulting hours over nine months, with the greatest concentration during months 2–6.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong Python/statistical-computing background
  • experience implementing probabilistic, Bayesian, state-space, longitudinal, machine-learning, or comparable inference systems
  • reproducible scientific software practices
  • automated testing and source control
  • ability to implement against a frozen technical specification rather than redefine the underlying research design. U.S. citizenship is required due to government access requirements.
