Live Chat Support Integration

I want to embed a real-time customer-support chat on my website so visitors can speak directly with our human agents. The focus is web only; no mobile or chatbot layer is required right now. Here’s what I’m after: a fast-loading widget that matches our branding, plus a browser-based agent console where staff can accept chats, transfer them, use canned replies, see typing indicators, get sound alerts, and keep a searchable transcript. When a session ends, both parties should receive an emailed copy, and all logs need to be stored in our existing PHP/MySQL setup for later reporting. Feel free to build on a solid open-source stack—Socket.io, Laravel Echo, Firebase, or something equivalent—as long as the final solution is self-hosted, documented, and easy to deploy on our VPS. Deliverables are the full source code, database schema, an install guide, and a quick hand-off call so I’m comfortable putting it live.
