Experienced WordPress Developer Needed to Convert Existing Next.js Website to WordPress

I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to convert an existing website built with Next.js into a fully functional WordPress website. The goal is to retain the current website’s design, layout, functionality, and overall user experience while making it manageable through WordPress. The existing website has already been developed, so this project is primarily a migration and conversion task rather than building a website from scratch. Scope of Work Convert the existing Next.js website into a WordPress website. Replicate the current design, layout, responsive behaviour, and styling as closely as possible. Recreate existing pages, navigation, forms, and interactive components. Ensure the website works smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Set up WordPress so that relevant website content can be managed easily through the admin dashboard. Implement appropriate SEO practices, including page titles, meta descriptions, clean URLs, and redirects where necessary. Optimise website performance, loading speed, and security. Ensure compatibility with modern browsers. Assist with deployment, domain configuration, and final testing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have: Proven experience converting custom-coded websites into WordPress. Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working with Next.js or other React-based frameworks. Experience developing custom WordPress themes and integrating custom functionality. A strong understanding of responsive design, SEO, and website performance optimisation. A portfolio demonstrating similar migration or conversion projects.
