Startup Operations & Finance Lead

I am building a new company while working three other jobs, so I’m looking for a partner who can take charge of the day-to-day and keep growth on track without constant hand-holding. Your core focus will be financial management, operations oversight, and hands-on business development. On the finance side, I need you to design and implement the entire back-office stack—from accounting and bookkeeping to budgeting, forecasting, and airtight expense controls. If QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite are second nature to you and you can spin up clean dashboards and reporting workflows fast, we’ll work well together. Operationally, you’ll map out processes, set clear KPIs, and keep every moving part synchronized so I can stay focused on my existing commitments. That means vendor coordination, team onboarding, and ensuring the right systems are always talking to each other. Finally, I want someone who has already built a company from scratch and can point to real revenue wins. You’ve worn the Business Development Manager hat before, closed deals, and translated strategy into income. Key deliverables I expect in our first phase: • Fully operational accounting, budgeting, and expense-tracking system, live and reconciled • Documented SOPs for critical operations with measurable KPIs in place • A 90-day growth roadmap outlining revenue targets and acquisition tactics If you’re the kind of self-starter who can own the full build-out and drive profitability while freeing me from the daily grind, let’s talk.
