I need a streamlined digital system that lets me see, at a glance, how every construction project is actually progressing on-site. The core of the platform is project progression tracking, and the three capabilities I cannot compromise on are task management, milestone tracking, and clear visibility of resource allocation. While the first release must nail those elements, the design should leave room for tighter cost and risk dashboards so the database structure and API layer you build today will not need a rewrite when those modules come online. Scope of work • Build an intuitive web interface (desktop-first, mobile responsive) where site teams can update task status, log resources used, and close milestones. • Create the underlying data model that captures baseline plans, daily updates, and variance calculations. • Develop interactive charts and KPIs that refresh in real-time (or near real-time) so I can spot delays and resource bottlenecks instantly. • Implement role-based access so subcontractors, site managers, and senior leadership each see only the information relevant to them. Acceptance criteria 1. A live dashboard that highlights percentage complete for every major work package, next critical milestone, and current resource utilisation. 2. Task updates sync to the central database within 60 seconds of submission. 3. All screens load in under three seconds on a standard 4G connection. 4. Clear technical hand-off: source code, database schema, installation guide, and a short video walkthrough. Tech stack is flexible—SQL or NoSQL back end is fine as long as the structure supports expansion; for visuals you can leverage Power BI, Grafana, or a custom React/Vue front end if you prefer.
