I’m putting together a comic book whose protagonists draw directly from the Mahabharat, and I need fresh, minimalist line sketches that still feel unmistakably heroic and rooted in that epic world. The focus is on clean silhouettes and iconic poses rather than ornate armor or intricate backgrounds—think strong shapes, clear facial expressions, and only the essential costume elements that signal each character’s identity. You’ll receive a short brief with the specific characters I’ve chosen, along with any key reference images I already have. From there, I’d like you to interpret each hero or villain in your own hand-drawn style while respecting the traditional cues: characteristic weapons, signature headgear, and an overall aesthetic that matches classic Indian comics. Deliverables • One black-and-white sketch per assigned character, supplied as high-resolution PNG (300 dpi) plus layered PSD or Procreate file. • A bonus rough thumbnail sheet that shows your pose exploration for each character, so I can pick the strongest option before you finalize it. A sketch is approved when the likeness is clear at first glance, the lines remain clean at print size, and the file opens perfectly in Photoshop without missing layers. Once everything meets those points, we’ll wrap the milestone and move on to the next batch of characters.
