Private Family Villa Architectural Design

Architectural Design for a Private Family Villa – 45m × 45m Plot I am looking for a creative architect/designer to develop a conceptual floor plan and architectural layout for a private family villa on a 45m × 45m plot. The building does not have to follow a specific shape such as U-shaped or L-shaped. The designer is encouraged to propose the best architectural form based on functionality, privacy, circulation, garden views, and overall spatial quality. The villa should preferably be positioned toward the left side of the plot, allowing a generous garden and outdoor area toward the right side, but alternative layouts are welcome if they provide a better solution. Ground Floor The Ground Floor should be clearly organized into three main zones: Guest Zone, Family Zone, and Service Zone. 1. Guest Zone * Large formal Majlis. * Separate and convenient guest entrance. * Formal dining room connected or located close to the Majlis. * Guest washbasins and toilets conveniently located between or near the Majlis and formal dining area. * Cinema / Games Room located close to the guest area and accessible for both guests and family. * Where possible, the Majlis and dining spaces should have attractive views toward the garden. 2. Family Zone * Large open-plan family living room. * Strong connection between the family living area and the garden. * Large windows / glass openings overlooking the outdoor landscape. * Informal family dining area integrated with the living room. * Pantry serving the family living and dining area. * One additional room on the Ground Floor that can function as a guest bedroom or multipurpose bedroom, depending on the best layout. * The family area should feel spacious and open, with minimum unnecessary corridors. 3. Service Zone The service areas must be fully integrated within the main villa building and should not be designed as a separate external annex. Required spaces: * Main kitchen. * Kitchen store. * Maid’s room with bathroom. * Laundry room. * Ironing room. * Additional storage/service space if required. * Preferably a separate external service entrance. * Efficient service circulation without crossing through the main family living spaces. The Ground Floor bedroom may be positioned between the Family Zone and Service Zone depending on the best planning solution. First Floor The First Floor should include four bedrooms in total. The Master Suite is one of the most important spaces and should include: * Large Master Bedroom. * Large walk-in dressing room approximately 4m × 5m. * Large Master Bathroom approximately 3m × 5m. * A private sitting area may be incorporated into or adjacent to the Master Suite if space allows. The remaining three bedrooms should be comfortable and preferably include: * Private bathrooms. * Dressing / wardrobe areas where possible. The First Floor should also include: * Large open family lounge. * Small storage room. * Comfortable circulation with minimum wasted corridor space. External & Site Requirements * Guard room close to the main entrance gate. * External storage room close to the entrance/service area. * Practical parking arrangement. * Vehicle movement should not dominate or interfere with the main garden. * The design should maximize garden views from the living, dining, and major internal spaces. * Good indoor-outdoor connection is very important. * Privacy between guest, family, and service areas must be carefully maintained. Design Philosophy The priority is not to force the villa into a specific shape. The design should first achieve the best: * Functional zoning. * Privacy. * Internal circulation. * Garden views. * Natural light. * Indoor/outdoor relationship. * Efficient use of space. * Elegant architectural proportions. The final building form may be U-shaped, L-shaped, rectangular, courtyard-based, or another configuration if it provides a stronger architectural solution. Project Requirements The proposal should clearly show: * Site layout. * Ground Floor plan. * First Floor plan. * Room names and approximate dimensions. * Main entrances and service entrances. * Garden and outdoor relationship. * Parking arrangement. * General architectural concept. I am open to creative and practical planning solutions, and I prefer to review different ideas before proceeding with the final design.
