Bilingual South American Software Engineers

I am assembling a long-term, fully remote web-development team made up exclusively of South American engineers who can work comfortably in both Spanish and English (minimum B2 level). Every member should bring at least two years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems. The day-to-day work revolves around modern, component-based front ends and robust, scalable back ends. On the UI side you should feel confident with React or Angular; familiarity with Vue.js is welcome but not required. Server-side projects are currently split among Python, C#, Java and Ruby microservices, so strength in one or more of those languages is essential. Because several initiatives have an AI component, any practical exposure to machine-learning libraries or cloud AI services will be a plus. You will: • Design, code and review new features for web applications. • Collaborate in English during stand-ups and in Spanish during client syncs, switching languages as the situation demands. • Write clean, tested code and participate in peer code reviews. • Deploy and monitor services in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure, depending on the product).
