Local Control Tuya Smart Lock

I’m running a Tuya-based smart lock that currently relies on Tuya’s cloud, and I want it to function entirely inside my LAN. Lock, unlock, status, battery level—everything has to stay, but without any call home. What I need is solid API integration work. Whether you reverse-engineer the existing Tuya local protocol, pull the device keys, or wrap native commands in MQTT/HTTP, the outcome should be a clean local API I can hit from Home Assistant or a simple Python script on my Raspberry Pi. Deliverables • Working code (Python, Node, or equivalent) that locks/unlocks and reports state over the local network • Step-by-step guide for extracting any required keys or tokens without cloud access • Setup instructions that work on a fresh device • Confirmation—via packet capture or logs—that no outbound traffic is generated I can supply packet captures, serial console logs, and I’m comfortable flashing test builds if that helps.
