Oracle Middleware/BI Administrator Needed

Title: Role Summary We are looking for a hands-on Middleware/BI Administrator responsible for the installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle WebLogic Server (11g/12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11.1.1.9.0) on a Linux environment. The candidate must know the complete end-to-end installation and setup process for OBIEE and ODI, from pre-requisite checks through post-installation configuration. Job Description: Key Responsibilities Install and configure Oracle WebLogic Server 11g and 12c on Linux environments. Perform end-to-end installation and setup of OBIEE (including pre-requisites, RCU, WebLogic domain creation, and OBIEE configuration). Perform end-to-end installation and setup of ODI 11g (11.1.1.9.0), including Repository creation, ODI Studio, and ODI agent setup. Run and manage Repository Creation Utility (RCU) for schema creation required by OBIEE/ODI. Apply patches, one-off fixes, and Patch Set Updates (PSUs) to WebLogic, OBIEE, and ODI environments. Troubleshoot installation and configuration issues across the middleware stack. Document installation steps, configurations, and patching activities for internal reference. Coordinate with application/BI teams for environment readiness and post-install validation. Technical Skills Required Strong working knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server (11g and 12c) — installation, domain configuration, managed servers, clusters on Linux. Must know end-to-end installation and setup of OBIEE — pre-requisites, RCU schema creation, WebLogic domain creation, OBIEE installation, Configuration Assistant, and post-install verification. Must know end-to-end installation and setup of ODI 11g (11.1.1.9.0) — Master/Work repository creation via RCU, ODI Studio installation, ODI agent configuration. Hands-on experience with RCU (Repository Creation Utility) for schema creation. Ability to apply patches and interim fixes using OPatch or equivalent tools. Clear understanding of the overall installation flow and dependencies between WebLogic, RCU, OBIEE, and ODI on a Linux environment. Good to Have Working knowledge of Oracle Linux — basic shell commands, file permissions, environment variables, services, and OS-level pre-requisites for Oracle middleware installations. Familiarity with Inquira Analytics 8.6.0, since OBIEE and ODI are components of the Analytics installation stack.
