Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer – Tailscale/WireGuard NetBSD We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer based in North, Central, or South America to help make our existing Tailscale/WireGuard project work properly on NetBSD. The project currently does not run correctly on NetBSD. Your main responsibility will be to identify the compatibility issues, fix them, and make the project stable on NetBSD.

Requirements

5+ years of professional Go/Golang experience Strong Unix/Linux networking knowledge Experience with NetBSD, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, or similar systems Experience with Tailscale or WireGuard Good understanding of TCP/UDP, routing, DNS, sockets, and network interfaces Experience debugging OS-specific Go issues Strong English communication skills Based in North America, Central America, or South America Main Responsibilities Find and fix why the project does not run on NetBSD Modify Go code for NetBSD compatibility Fix networking and system-level issues Test Tailscale/WireGuard functionality on NetBSD Make sure existing platforms continue to work Add tests and documentation To Apply Tech Skil: TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Python, Donet Please provide: Years of Go experience NetBSD/BSD experience Tailscale/WireGuard experience A brief example of a difficult networking or OS issue you solved GitHub/GitLab profile Country and time zone Availability Hourly rate Write "I am a Software Engineer" in front of your bid.
