Medical Fit-Out Project Manager Needed

Construction Project Manager needed for a healthcare facility in Manchester from tender through to full hand-over The job starts immediately at the tender stage. From day one you will be expected to: • Oversee budget management, ensuring every cost line is tracked and reported. • Own the master programme—build it, update it, and keep the team on time. • Coordinate daily with contractors, suppliers, and specialist trades to avoid site clashes and delays. • Guide the whole project lifecycle, right through commissioning and sign-off. You’ll be the communication hub, keeping medical facility management, the construction team, and our designers/architects fully aligned through concise weekly progress reports and on-site meetings. Proficiency with MS Project (or similar), Excel cost trackers, and cloud-based document control is essential. A healthcare or laboratory fit-out background will put you to the front of the line. • Signed-off cost plan with monthly variance reports • Baseline and updated construction programmes • Risk register and mitigation log • Final project close-out file, including O&M manuals and compliance certificates If you can take ownership, drive the schedule, and still keep a close eye on the pounds and pence, we'd like to hear how you’d tackle this assignment and when you can start.
