求人について

Please, do not send automated bid for this project without reading project details Application Instructions: Fixed budget: USD $200-$300 for this. Please bid only if you can complete the mandatory scope within this range by reusing the existing modules and code. This is not a request to rebuild the whole platform. Project Summary: TrakPoints is an existing web-based business management platform. It already contains POS/sales, products/items, stock adjustments and transfers, Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Credit Notes, Debit Notes, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, deposits/transfers/cash transactions, expenses, customer/supplier statements, reports and role-based access. This project is NOT a build-from-scratch project. The goal is to connect, correct and complete the existing accounting functions and add a reliable historical data import feature. The successful freelancer must work within the existing codebase, reuse existing working modules, and avoid unnecessary redesign. This first phase is intentionally limited to the accounting core, migration/import, and a small number of permission/approval improvements so the work can remain within a fixed budget Scope - 1. Accounting Core General Ledger: Rename the existing “Ledger Summary” to “General Ledger” and make it the main ledger view. Every posted transaction should flow to the ledger and be traceable to its source document where practical. Automatic double-entry posting: Normal business transactions must generate balanced debit/credit entries automatically. At minimum: cash sale, credit sale, customer receipt, inventory purchase on credit, supplier payment, operating expense, and inventory cost/COGS effect for stocked sales. Accounts Receivable: Complete customer invoices/outstanding invoices, customer receipts, partial payments, allocation of one payment to one or multiple invoices, credit notes, customer statements, customer aging and correct outstanding balances. Accounts Payable: Complete supplier bills/outstanding bills, supplier payments, partial payments, allocation across bills, debit notes, supplier statements, supplier aging and correct outstanding balances. Financial statements: Ensure Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet use the same accounting data/General Ledger. Add a basic Cash Flow Statement covering operating, investing and financing activities. Opening balances: Allow an existing business to enter/import opening customer balances, supplier balances, cash/bank balances, inventory balances and General Ledger opening balances as appropriate. Posted transaction control: Posted accounting transactions must not be silently deleted. Use a controlled Void/Reverse process so balances remain explainable. Basic Banking & Cash grouping: Reuse existing deposits, money transfers and cash transactions under a clearer Banking & Cash area. Advanced direct bank feeds are NOT part of this phase. Required Accounting Posting Examples • Credit sale: Debit Accounts Receivable; Credit Sales Revenue; separately Debit Cost of Goods Sold and Credit Inventory for stocked items. • Cash sale: Debit Cash/Bank; Credit Sales Revenue; separately post Cost of Goods Sold / Inventory. • Customer receipt: Debit Cash/Bank; Credit Accounts Receivable. • Inventory purchase on credit: Debit Inventory; Credit Accounts Payable. • Supplier payment: Debit Accounts Payable; Credit Cash/Bank. • Operating expense: Debit the relevant Expense account; Credit Cash/Bank or Payable. Scope - 2. Data Import / Migration New businesses must be able to bring existing records into TrakPoints from Excel/CSV instead of starting from zero. To keep this phase practical, historical transactions may be imported as reference/history while opening balances establish the live accounting position. Full reconstruction of several years of historical accounting is not required in this phase. • Products/services and categories • Customers and customer opening balances • Suppliers and supplier opening balances • Opening stock by warehouse/location • Historical sales invoices and invoice line items • Historical purchases/supplier bills • Customer receipts and supplier payments • Expenses • Cash/bank and relevant opening balances The import feature must provide downloadable Excel/CSV templates or accept a structured file and must include: • Column mapping or clearly documented required columns. • Preview/validation before final import. • Duplicate invoice/bill detection. • Row-level error messages for invalid dates, missing products/customers, bad quantities or totals. • Preservation of original invoice numbers and transaction dates. • An import result summary showing successful and failed rows. • Protection against double-counting opening balances and imported historical records. Scope - 3. Essential Permissions & Approval • Extend existing RBAC to control actions, not only menu visibility. Minimum roles: Sales/Cashier, Accountant, Manager and Admin/Owner. • Sales representatives may request a selling-price/discount edit during a sale, but a sensitive change must not become final until an authorized manager approves it. • Accountants/managers should have access to accounting functions while ordinary sales users should not be able to change Chart of Accounts or financial reports. • Keep existing POS and inventory workflows working after the changes. Small UI/Terminology Changes Included Current label - Change to Ledger Summary to General Ledger Aging under Receivables to Customer Aging Aging under Payables to Supplier Aging Receipts under Payables to Supplier Payments Sales GST Report to Sales VAT/Tax Report Purchase GST Report to Purchase VAT/Tax Report Acceptance Criteria - Payment Is Released Only After These Work • Every posted journal balances: total debit equals total credit. • A credit sale correctly updates sales, inventory/COGS and customer receivable. • A customer partial payment reduces the correct invoice(s), statement and aging b
