Ongoing Mechanical Engineering Support

I have a steady pipeline of mechanical projects and need a reliable engineer I can turn to on an ongoing basis. The workload ranges from early-stage concept sketches all the way through detailed CAD models, analysis, prototype tweaks and production documentation. Some weeks may focus on refining a single component; other times you might help optimise an entire assembly or advise on manufacturability and cost. Solid proficiency in mainstream CAD packages (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) is essential, and the ability to back up designs with sound calculations or simulation results will make collaboration smoother. Clear communication and prompt iteration are just as important as technical skill, since most projects move quickly and I often need fast turnarounds or minor revisions within a day or two. Typical deliverables could include: • Native CAD files and exported STEP/IGES • Fully-dimensioned drawings ready for production • Brief design or analysis notes that explain assumptions, material choices and tolerance stack-ups • Occasional support during prototype build or supplier hand-off If you enjoy varied tasks, can commit to deadlines and are comfortable tracking time across multiple small milestones, I’d like to build a long-term working relationship.
