Experienced AP Freelancer Needed

Accounts Payable Freelancer Required We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Freelancer to handle our day-to-day accounts payable activities remotely.

Responsibilities

Receive, review, and enter supplier/vendor invoices - Verify invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents - Categorize expenses correctly - Maintain vendor accounts and records - Reconcile vendor statements - Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies - Track outstanding invoices and AP aging - Prepare payment schedules - Record payments accurately - Identify duplicate or incorrect invoices - Assist with month-end AP closing - Reconcile AP records with the general ledger - Maintain proper documentation for all transactions - Prepare regular AP reports - Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, balances, and payment status - Coordinate with the accountant/bookkeeper for month-end reporting Required Skills - Practical Accounts Payable experience - Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting - Strong Excel skills - Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, or Tally - Good attention to detail - Ability to work independently - Good written English - Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Preferred Experience Experience working with US/UK/UAE businesses or CPA/accounting firms is preferred.
