ZIORE – Premium Sleepwear Shopify Website Design & Development

I’m currently developing ZIORE, a new Australian premium sleepwear and lifestyle brand, and I’m looking for an experienced Shopify designer/developer to help create our website ready for launch. ZIORE is centred around comfort, slowing down and making everyday downtime feel a little more special. Our tagline is “Made to slow down.” We will initially be launching with a small collection of approximately 3 sleepwear sets (2 women’s and 1 men’s), with plans to expand into loungewear, track pants, blankets, robes and other comfort/lifestyle products in the future. I already have the brand identity and product development underway, including logo, colour palette and overall visual direction. I’m looking for someone who can take this direction and translate it into a beautiful, functional and professional Shopify store. THE LOOK & FEEL I want the website to feel premium, warm, calm, modern and slightly moody. Think elevated and editorial, but still comfortable, cozy and welcoming. Minimal without being plain or boring. The brand uses muted colours such as dusty plum, slate/midnight blue, warm cream/oat, chocolate and soft neutrals. I do not want a generic dropshipping-style Shopify website or simply a standard template with my logo and products added. Design and brand presentation are very important to me. I'd love thoughtful details, subtle movement/animations and beautiful use of photography and typography while keeping the website clean, fast and easy to shop. WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS The initial website will likely include: - Homepage - Shop / collection pages - Individual product pages - About ZIORE - Contact - FAQ - Size guide - Shipping & returns - Standard policy pages - Newsletter/email signup - Reviews - Product recommendations - Size and colour variants - Social media integration - Cart and checkout setup - Payment/shipping setup - Basic SEO - Mobile optimisation The website needs to be fully responsive and particularly strong on mobile. I would also like the backend to be easy enough for me to manage myself after handover, including adding products, changing photos/text and creating future collections. HOMEPAGE I'd like the homepage to sell the feeling of ZIORE, not just display products. I'd love a strong hero section introducing ZIORE – Made to slow down, followed by a mixture of collection/product imagery, brand storytelling, fabric/comfort details, close-up product details and lifestyle imagery. The aim is for customers to understand the thought that has gone into the fabric, fit, details and overall experience rather than seeing the products as simply another pair of pyjamas. CURRENT STAGE The products are currently still being finalised, so professional campaign/product photography is not available yet. I'd like to create the website structure and overall design first, with the ability to easily replace temporary images and content with final photography before launch. I'm happy to work collaboratively and would actually love someone who can contribute ideas and suggest improvements rather than simply following instructions. WHO I'M LOOKING FOR Ideally, you have experience designing Shopify websites for fashion, lifestyle, sleepwear or premium ecommerce brands and have a strong eye for branding and visual design as well as the technical side of Shopify. Scope of work • Build the Shopify theme so the entire site feels cozy and inviting, matching the brand’s “Made to slow down” spirit. • Upload and merchandise a tight launch range of three sleepwear sets (two women’s, one men’s) with the flexibility to add future loungewear, blankets and lifestyle items. • Configure navigation, product pages, cart and checkout to keep the buying journey simple and stress-free. Homepage requirements 1. Full-screen hero image that instantly sets the mood. 2. Featured product sections to spotlight the launch sets. 3. Customer testimonials to reinforce trust and comfort. I’ll provide high-resolution product photography, copy, exact brand colours, fonts and logo files. You’ll provide: a finished, live Shopify store ready for launch, plus any theme customisations or apps required to achieve the experience above.
