AutoCAD Mechanical Draftsman Needed

I need an experienced mechanical draftsman—someone who has spent at least five years translating complex machine-building concepts into clear, shop-ready documents. Your main tool on this project will be AutoCAD, so deep, everyday proficiency in that environment is essential. The core of the assignment is to turn my machine designs into precise manufacturing drawings that a fabricator can pick up without second-guessing. Expect to work with models that involve industrial machinery, conveyors, and a mix of steel components; if you’re already comfortable with hydraulics or pneumatics, you’ll feel right at home, but the immediate priority is clean, unambiguous drawings. Alongside the drawings, I also rely on accurate bills of materials—every fastener, plate, and profile needs to be accounted for. I typically review DWG files and PDFs, so please be prepared to deliver in those formats. Deliverables for each design package: • Fully detailed manufacturing drawings (DWG + PDF) • Corresponding BOM in Excel or CSV Quality means clear dimensions, proper tolerances, and adherence to standard drafting conventions; if a fabricator can laser-cut, bend, and weld directly from your documentation, we’re set.
