I’m expanding SparePe’s Indian-market catalogue of genuine vehicle spares, and the automated scraping pipeline has hit a wall: on marketplace listings, the OEM part number is often missing altogether. That single data point is critical for us, because without it I can’t link a part to the right brand, model, or year. Your job is to track down those absent numbers, confirm they’re accurate, and send them back in a clean, structured format. What you’ll work with • A spreadsheet of marketplace URLs where the part number field is blank. • Any contextual hints from the listing itself (images, description, price, packaging). • Optional access to the scraped data we already hold from manufacturer sites and other storefronts. What I need back • The verified OEM part number for each URL. • A brief note on the source of truth you used (e.g., manufacturer PDF, cross-referenced catalogue page, phone confirmation). • If supporting screenshots are available, a link or image file for audit purposes. Acceptance criteria • Every number must match the format used by the original equipment manufacturer. • No duplicates or placeholder codes. • At least 95 % of the batch should clear a random spot-check without correction. If you already keep manufacturer catalogues handy or know efficient lookup techniques, you’ll fly through this. Feel free to suggest workflow tweaks that could speed up future batches—there’s plenty more data waiting once this pilot succeeds.
