Retail External Financial Audit

I need an independent, external financial audit completed for my retail operation. My books are up-to-date in QuickBooks, and I will grant you remote access to the ledger, supporting invoices, bank statements, and inventory reports as soon as we start. The engagement covers the most recent fiscal year and must culminate in a signed auditor’s report that meets GAAP requirements and is suitable for lenders and potential investors. Alongside the opinion, I expect a concise management letter highlighting any material weaknesses or areas for improvement you uncover. Deliverables • Auditor’s opinion on the annual financial statements (PDF + editable file) • Management letter with findings and recommendations • Adjusting journal entries, if any, in spreadsheet form Acceptance criteria • All fieldwork completed in accordance with ISA or US GAAS, and workpapers made available if requested • Final report delivered no later than three weeks after kickoff • Clear, professional communication during the process, particularly if additional documentation is required If you are a licensed CPA or equivalent with recent retail audit experience, I’d like to hear how you would approach the assignment and your estimated timeline.
